Welcome to High School – Winter School for Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics subjects (WS-STEM), a high school career exhibition winter school initiative dedicated to the dissemination of STEM related information to high school learners, especially to less advantaged high schools. The initiative is designed to expose Grade 12 learners to the dynamic field of STEM and provide intensive revision classes in Mathematics and related subjects. The primary objective is to enhance students' understanding, with a particular focus on Mathematics, thereby improving pass rates in Mathematics, Physical Science, Life Science, and other related disciplines.

The program runs for about two weeks at a selected high school, and is offered at no cost to learners, schools, or the Department of Education. Each subject is supported by approximately four experienced tutors including facilitators, ensuring an excellent instructor-to-learner ratio. Our passionate facilitators and tutors are committed to helping students achieve their academic goals.

In addition to our rigorous academic program, we host a two-day career exhibition. This event features representatives from various academics and non-academic institutions/ organisations who explain financial aid opportunities, tertiary education pathways, application processes, job prospects, and more. The career fair also includes exciting science demonstrations, mathematics games, drone aviation displays, biology models, physics motors, and chemistry experiments. University representatives are available to discuss enrollment requirements and application procedures.

Join us at WS-STEM, to contribute to the empowerment of the next generation to excel in STEM subjects and prepare for a successful future.
